Happy Independence Day!

Araw ng Pagdiriwang ng Ating Kasarinlan.

Yeah. Malalalim na Tagalog yon ah. Being makata for a day. Or that one-liner opening spiel. Haha.

Today, we celebrate our 116th Independence Day.

The annual flag-raising activities will be simultaneously held in key cities in the Philippines. The President himself will, however, spearhead the events at the Plaza Quince Martires in Naga City!

It makes me feel proud that Naga City was chosen to be the center of this year’s activities. Nasa mapa na din ang City of Naga. 🙂

Enjoy the holiday but don’t forget the wisdom behind today’s celebration. Wear red, yellow or blue today, will ya? I’ll wear my Pilipinas shirt for this special day. 🙂

I remain.
