Just before I left for Manila last September, my YFC friends and I gathered around for an organic dinner at Green Earth Cafe. I specifically chose the place since I think it’s cozy and warm. Plus their menu consisting of absolutely organic food was worth a try.
My palate was ready for an Italian treat. You know, pizza and pasta. The question is, is there pizza and pasta at Green Earth? Definitely, yes!
So I ordered a plateful of organic spaghetti and paired it up with the assorted seeds muffin. The rest ordered real dinner consisting of rice, soup, and viand consisting mainly of vegetables and more vegetables with slices of tofu as meat replacement here and there.
Since organic food took time to prepare, we busied ourselves reading the boxful of ‘organic vs. non-organic facts’ with lots of laughter and banter. We were such a happy noisy group. Haha.
Silence enveloped the room as soon as the food came. All you could hear was the clinking and clanking of silverware against chinaware, and chinaware with another chinaware. Finishing half my plate and the muffin, I already felt full. How about that?
Just to give you an idea of how nomnom the food looks:
